I could go on and on about what a wonderfully kind smart and caring man that you are. But I will keep it short and sweet and just say that it has been an honor and a privilege to call you Dad#2 since 1980. I thank GOD for allowing us to be a part of each others lives. "Lives are like rivers: Eventually they go where they must. Not where we want them to.” These words have kept me going for a lot of years. John told me these words over fifty years ago. At least I know each moment has unfolded as it should have, that there is nothing I could have done to be his savior — as much as I wish I could have, and no matter what tomorrow brings, I will remember and cherish our 65-year-old friendship for the rest of my life, just the way he would have. “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known my name.” -Psalms 91:14 Dad knew and accepted the love of God. He ensured that those around were benefactors of the blessings bestowed to him. He welcomed me and my son to into his clan with the love of the almighty, the food of a chef, the hugs of family, and never wavering support. The smiles and laughter were always the cherry on top. He was your biggest fan and your fiercest defender. I truly became one of his flock and for that I am truly grateful. His body on earth may be gone but his spirit will definitely live on in us all. AGLAT!

I knew John from working at HMS School. John was always ready with a smile that would light up a room and kind words of wisdom. You could talk to John about anything. He was a wonderful man and a true Gentleman. I will remember him with such fondness. My deepest condelences to John's family. May he rest in the arms of the Angels. John Will truly be missed by family and friends. I was his Boss at HMS school where he was an outstanding employee and a joy to be around. John was never short on kind words or to share his wealth of knowledge. Being a man of God hey had that glow over him that was insatiable. I could go on and on talking about this truly wonderful man.
