Denise was truly that girlfriend that was what true girls are like with each other. Each and every life event we had, ups and downs, we were there for each other. I was glad to be a small part of support in the end as she was mine with my husband through his cancer diagnosis and death 2 years ago. I pray for Tony and Ashley and all the family to have peace, love and support. Denise was a "keep it real person" and I loved her for it. I will miss her truly especially our daily text.

Denise was one of those exceptional people who continually did thoughtful things for others even while she was suffering with cancer. Out of many kindnesses she showed me as one of her neighbors, I most treasure one special gift from Denise. Three years ago at the age of 85, I became a grandfather for the first time with the birth of my daughter's baby girl. I sent a text message photo to Tony and Denise of my newly born granddaughter being held in my arms. A few days later, I was delighted when Denise gave me an enlarged photo of my precious granddaughter, Ellie, and me embossed flawlessly on a lovely wooden frame. I keep that embossed photo on the mantel over my fireplace and look at it several times a day and it reminds me how sweet and giving Denise was as a neighbor and friend. Although we will miss her greatly, we comfort ourselves by knowing that Denise is now enjoying her glorious eternal life in Heaven. Rolph Anderson
