Mildred Thomas was a wonderful person, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was strong in the Lord and when she preached she preached with truth, humor and power. I will miss her soulful way of singing in church and her expression when she read poems. She always had a poem fit for the occasion. It was an honor and pleasure to know Sister Mildred who I have known all my life. Take your rest Sister, waiting for the coming of our Lord.
